Tongits came out of Philippine kitchen tables as a rummy game for three. Playing tongits online keeps the standard 52-card pack, the sets and runs, and both ways to close a hand. The difference is that software deals, runs the turn timer and blocks illegal moves. Learn one turn and every table feels familiar.
Tongits online: the deck and the deal
The pack is a standard 52 cards with no jokers, split like this:
| Who | Cards |
|---|---|
| Dealer | 13 |
| Each other player | 12 |
| Stock | 15 |
Ace counts 1, number cards count their face value, and jack, queen and king count 10.
A set means three or four cards that share a rank. A run means three or more in sequence inside one suit. Most tables treat the ace as low only, so A-2-3 counts as a run while Q-K-A does not.
One turn in four taps
- Draw the top of the stock, or take the top discard if it completes a meld right away.
- Meld any sets or runs by laying them face up.
- Sapaw by adding cards to melds already on the table.
- Discard one card to end the turn.
Quick check: each discard signals to the player after you which cards you are not chasing, so keep back the one that would complete their run.
How a hand ends
| Ending | How it happens | Who wins |
|---|---|---|
| Tongits | You empty your hand | You |
| Draw | After laying a meld, you call it instead of drawing | Lowest points, if others accept |
| Empty stock | The stock runs out | Lowest points |
Each table sets its own payouts for a win, a folded challenge or being caught with no melds (called burned). No single standard exists, so what a hand costs you is whatever the table screen shows.
Tongits Go in the GG Panalo lobby
On 2026-11-05 the lobby showed a JILI card title named Tongits Go, alongside titles such as Rummy and Poker King. Look in the Poker tab, which held 38 titles from JILI, CG and CQ9 that day. The title is JILI’s own game inside the lobby, not the standalone Tongits Go app that many people look for under the same words.
Its rules and payouts sit on the in-game info screen. JILI gives no RTP figure for it, so no return number is out there to quote.
Red flags to watch for
Search results for tongits are crowded with bait. Four patterns repeat:
- A “tongits hack”, “tongits generator” or “auto-win” file. No tool can read the shuffled stock, and files like these are how accounts get stolen.
- A table where you are told to transfer cash to somebody’s private e-wallet number. Genuine tables only take money through their cashier.
- An app file from a chat group or a link in a video comment.
- A promise of daily wins. A card game with a house cut cannot promise any.
Set the budget before you sit: the bet unit idea and a written written loss limit rule keep a fast card game from running away, and bankroll management habits sit behind both.
Reaching the lobby
GG Panalo’s own site is ggpanalo.com, typed by hand. Here, every button leads to 76JL, the partner platform, and ggpanalo.com is the only address for GG Panalo itself. See the login and table access, the register before a card table, the app and download notes for card players and the GCash casino check for card stakes before you fund a table. If you also like card games with a 13-card hand, read pusoy online, the 13-card cousin, and find more reading in the casino blog index.
How to Get Started
-
Learn one turn
Draw from the stock or the discard, lay down melds, add cards with sapaw, then discard one card.
-

Going out with no cards is Tongits, Draw compares points once you have a meld down, and a used-up stock ends on the lowest total.
-
