A Mines game is a grid of face-down tiles with some mines hidden among them. Open a safe tile and the multiplier goes up; open a mine and the round ends. You decide how far to push, and the maths below shows what that costs.

How a Mines game works

Before the round, you choose a stake and, in many versions, the number of mines. The game then hides them on a grid. You tap tiles one at a time, and each safe tile lifts your multiplier, so cashing out after three safe tiles pays more than after one.

Example: a ₱50 stake cashed out at 1.14x returns about ₱57; a mine on that first tile returns ₱0.

The game’s own help screen lists the grid size, the mine range and the multiplier steps. This guide holds no such figures for the lobby’s titles, so read them before you stake real money.

The odds, worked out

Take an example grid of 25 tiles with 3 mines. The first tile is safe 22 times in 25, which is 88%. Two safe tiles in a row happen 77% of the time, and three safe tiles in a row 67%.

So the chance of surviving drops with every tile. A fair multiplier would pay about 1.14x after one safe tile, since 25 divided by 22 is 1.14. A game with a house edge pays a little less than the fair figure at each step, which is why the cash-out matters more than the guess.

Quick check: pick the tile count you will stop at before the first tap, and write it down.

Mines titles in the lobby

On 5 November 2026 the Games tab counted 77 titles. It lists Mines and Mines Grand from JILI, and FC Mines from Fa Chai. Fa Chai shows RTP on its own games listing; see the Fa Chai page for the studio.

No RTP figure is shown, since JILI does not release one for these titles. Page through the lobby’s tabs to find all three.

A stop rule that works

Pick two numbers:

  1. How many safe tiles you open per round.
  2. How many rounds you play, for example 10.

Three tiles is a modest target, because the chance of reaching it on the example grid is about two in three. A round limit of ten keeps a bad run from growing.

Do not raise the tile count after a loss. A mine is not “due” to be somewhere else. For the same one-decision rhythm, read about crash games; for a stake per shot, stake-per-shot Mega Fishing; for the pile format, coin pusher and dozer games. The whole set sits under fishing games.

21+ only. Open fewer tiles than you think you can.

How to Get Started

  1. Read the grid and mine count

Each game shows its grid size and how many mines are hidden. More mines mean fewer safe tiles and a bigger multiplier per tile.

  2. Choose how many tiles you will open

Decide your tile count before round one, such as three safe tiles, and cash out when you reach it.

  3. Keep the stake small

Pick a stake you can lose several rounds in a row without changing it.

Short answers, thumb-sized

How does a Mines game work?

You open tiles on a hidden grid. Each safe tile raises your multiplier, and a mine ends the round, so you cash out whenever you choose.

What are the odds of a safe tile?

It depends on the grid and the mine count. On 25 tiles with 3 mines, the first pick is safe 22 times in 25, or 88%.

Which Mines games does the lobby list?

The Games tab lists Mines and Mines Grand from JILI and FC Mines from Fa Chai, read on 5 November 2026.

Do Mines games publish an RTP?

JILI publishes none for any title. Fa Chai shows RTP on its own games listing, so check its Mines title there.
