Use PESONet when the payout is big and the clock is not. It is the slower, roomier sibling of the real-time rail, built for batches rather than moments.
PESONet: how the batch rail works
PESONet is an electronic fund transfer run by the Philippine Clearing House Corporation as the clearing switch operator, under BSP’s National Retail Payment System framework. It launched on 8 November 2017. Instructions collect into batches and clear through several cycles a day.
Banking days only. Beat the cut-off and the transfer credits within that banking day; send after it and the credit comes the next banking day. Quick check: an instruction sent late on a Friday can land on Monday.
PESONet versus InstaPay at a glance
BSP’s comparison table draws the line cleanly.
| Rail | Limit | Timing |
|---|---|---|
| InstaPay | ₱50,000 per transaction | Real time, 24x7 |
| PESONet | No scheme limit | Same banking day, banking days only |
If you want the long answer on the real-time side, the InstaPay limits page goes deeper. Neither rail decides how long the casino’s own review takes; that stage comes first, and the fast withdrawal factors spell it out.
When a big payout points to PESONet
In its Terms the lobby at ggpanalo.com sets processing periods per amount, running three to five business days for ₱50,000 up to ₱500,000, then five to ten business days beyond. Payouts that large rarely fit one InstaPay transfer anyway. Whether the cashier lists a bank route at all is shown behind login, so check it before you plan around PESONet.
Wallets add their own steps. GCash says a PESONet cash-in is usually credited next banking day, and Maya’s own PESONet sends carry a ₱100 floor and a ₱300,000 ceiling per transfer.
PESONet steps for your own bank app
- Open Transfer to Other Banks and choose PESONet, not InstaPay.
- Enter the receiving account name and number, then the amount.
- Confirm with your OTP and keep the reference.
When a PESONet is rejected the bank’s rule is the likelier cause, so check the bank’s cap first. Nothing is deducted from the beneficiary for crediting.
Where next
For a wallet destination use the GCash withdraw guide or the Maya cash-in checks. Both wallets accept bank transfers into them, with their own tiers and caps. The withdrawal methods overview lists the rest, and your login entry shows which address opens which cashier.
How to Get Started
-
Compare the amount with ₱50,000
Under that figure InstaPay arrives in moments. Above it, PESONet is the rail that lets one transfer carry the full sum.
-
Beat your bank's daily cut-off
Send early in the banking day to be safe. Miss the cut-off and your instruction sits until the following banking day.
-
Ask the bank about its own cap
The scheme has no limit, but each participating bank sets one. Read it in your bank app before the amount is big.
