Roulette is simple at heart: a ball drops into one numbered pocket, and your chips either cover it or do not. What looks like a busy layout is two families of bet. Learn the families and the cost of each, and the felt stops looking like a puzzle.
Roulette bets: inside versus outside
Inside bets sit on the numbers. Outside bets sit around them, on groups.
| Bet | Covers | Pays |
|---|---|---|
| Straight up | 1 number | 35 to 1 |
| Split | 2 numbers | 17 to 1 |
| Street | 3 numbers | 11 to 1 |
| Corner | 4 numbers | 8 to 1 |
| Red or black, odd or even, low or high | 18 numbers | 1 to 1 |
| Dozen or column | 12 numbers | 2 to 1 |
The more numbers you cover, the more often you win and the less each win pays. All of these share the same edge on a given wheel.
Single-zero or double-zero: the pockets set the price
A European wheel has 37 pockets: one zero plus the numbers 1 to 36. The payout for a straight-up number is 35 to 1, yet the true odds are 36 to 1. The gap is the edge.
Edge for one unit staked: 1 divided by 37 gives 2.70 percent. On an American wheel with a second zero, 2 divided by 38 gives 5.26 percent. Quick check: count the zeros before you sit; the second one nearly doubles your cost.
Some French tables apply a rule called La Partage, which returns 50 percent of an even-money stake when zero lands. That halves the edge on those bets to 1.35 percent.
Roulette in the Philippines: what to expect on screen
Online, the wheel is either a live studio feed or a software wheel. Software wheels pick the result the moment you press spin. Whichever you meet, the panel lists stake limits and the bets open.
At ₱20 a spin and 60 spins, you stake ₱1,200. On a single-zero wheel the expected cost is about ₱32, and on a double-zero wheel about ₱63. Luck will swing far wider than that in one night, but the average sits there.
Lucky Roulette in the GG Panalo lobby
GG Panalo’s lobby, read on 2026-11-05, lists JILI’s Lucky Roulette among its arcade-style titles. It is a software game, and the Live tab that day showed only TOPBET’s Color Game, so there is no live wheel to join. Do not assume Lucky Roulette uses 37 pockets or the payouts above: the info screen inside the game states its own layout.
JILI publishes no RTP, so the return for this title is not published. Treat any percentage quoted by a third party as unsourced.
Tapping in safely
Check the login route before a wheel session and the register checklist for new players so you know which site you are on. If a home-screen shortcut appeals, the app or browser: the download page explains the choices, and the GCash casino wallet rules covers wallet limits.
Next, compare roulette’s cost with blackjack hit and stand chart, baccarat commission and Tie and sicbo dice maths on the house edge figures per bet. The live casino index holds every game page.
How to Get Started
-
Count the pockets
Single-zero wheels have 37 pockets and double-zero wheels have 38, which sets the edge before any bet.
-
Choose inside or outside
Inside bets are numbers with big payouts and rare wins; outside bets are groups that win more often and pay less.
-
Fix a stake and a stop
Choose one chip size and a loss limit in pesos, and let the limit end the session.
